Riverside waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against Lewis County as they made off with an 11-1 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-0 on Tuesday.

Landon Wyatt and Colt Brooks did most of the damage at the plate: Wyatt went a perfect 2-for-2 with five stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while Brooks went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and one stolen base. Those two triples gave Brooks a new career-high. Landon Vaughan was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Riverside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lewis County only posted an OBP of .300.

Riverside's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Lewis County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.

Looking ahead, Riverside will be playing at home against Adamsville at 6:50 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lewis County, they will welcome Mt. Pleasant at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
