Basketball Recap: Elmwood-Murdock Skates Past Falls City with Ease

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Elmwood-Murdock's strategy against Falls City on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Elmwood-Murdock Knights blew the Falls City Tigers out of the water with a 63-33 final score. The Knights pushed the score to 49-23 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers had little chance of recovering from.

Defeat or not, Falls City got some senior leadership from Keifer Adams and Quenton Adams. Keifer posted 15 points, while Quenton scored eight points. Quenton continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

The win got Elmwood-Murdock back to even at 2-2. As for Falls City, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Elmwood-Murdock didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-39 defeat against Syracuse on the 19th. As for Falls City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 55-39 loss against Palmyra on the 20th.
