Football Recap: Adelanto Saints vs. Silverado Hawks
Adelanto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 23-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Silverado Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Saints can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 655th, while the Hawks are ranked 310th).
Aumaurieon Bailey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Silverado, rushing for 215 yards and one TD while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Cardell Evans got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Adelanto's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Silverado, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-3.
