Baseball Recap: Hanover Park Gets the Win

Hanover Park won the last time they faced Morris Catholic and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hornets came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 8-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

Mark Perillo was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Ryan Medich was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Hanover Park's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Morris Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Hanover Park will square off against Bloomfield at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Morris Catholic, they will face off against Montville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
