Basketball Recap: North Idaho Christian's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

North Idaho Christian extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Chelsey Cate. The North Idaho Christian Royals blew past House of the Lord Christian Academy 60-24 on Tuesday thanks in part to Cate, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of North Idaho Christian's points.

Another player making a difference was Madison Salaiz, who went 5 of 11 en route to 11 points and seven assists. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in assists.

North Idaho Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for House of the Lord Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

North Idaho Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against House of the Lord Christian Academy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
