Basketball Recap: Westlake Takes a Loss

Westlake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Beauregard Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 42-34 back in January.

Westlake's loss dropped their record down to 7-18-1. As for South Beauregard, they now have a winning record of 18-17.

Coming up, Westlake will look to defend their home court on Friday against Jennings at 7:00 p.m. The Rams will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 61.94 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. South Beauregard has already played their next game (against Pitkin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
