Football Game Preview: Faith Academy Rams vs. Vigor Wolves

The Faith Academy Rams are taking a road trip to take on the Vigor Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Faith Academy has given up an average of 36.7 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Faith Academy's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Williamson on Friday. They were outmatched by the Lions and fell 54-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Rams were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Vigor put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Elberta, posting a 49-0 win. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 40th, while the Warriors are ranked 260th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Faith Academy's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Vigor, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Faith Academy took a serious blow against Vigor when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 48-7. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Rams were down 28-0.
