Baseball Recap: Indian Rocks Christian Has No Trouble Against Seffner Christian

Indian Rocks Christian had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Seffner Christian on Friday. The Indian Rocks Christian Eagles blew past the Seffner Christian Crusaders 17-5. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by nine runs or more this season.

Quinn Taylor was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Noah Mortellite was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Indian Rocks Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive contests.

Indian Rocks Christian's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-5.
