Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Academy Piles Up the Points Against Praise Academy

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Notre Dame Academy had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Praise Academy Lions, posting an 80-40 victory. The Irish Wolfhounds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 35 points or more this season.

Notre Dame Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ki'Andrey Thomas, who went 6 for 15 en route to 15 points and four steals. Thomas has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 22 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cj Peoples, who went 7 of 12 to rack up 15 points and three steals.

Notre Dame Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in nine consecutive games.
