After a string of four wins, Oxford's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They received a blow as they fell 51-33 to the Chelsea Hornets. The contest marked the Yellow Jackets' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Several Yellow Jackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaslyn Montgomery, who went 6 of 10 en route to 12 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brionna Wilson, who posted six points along with six boards and three steals.

Oxford's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Chelsea, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-7.

Oxford and Sardis will round out the year against one another at at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Oxford is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.3 points per game this season. As for Chelsea, they will challenge Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Northridge will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Chelsea surely won't give up without a fight.
