While Dunn's victory against Santa Clara wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Earwigs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over the Saints on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Earwigs sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

The team relied heavily on Hudson Von Der Lieth, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Dunn: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-3 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Theodore Anderson, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Dunn's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Santa Clara, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dunn will square off against Cate at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Santa Clara, they will face off against Grace at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
