Soccer Recap: Covenant Classical Community Has No Trouble Against Grace Christian School

Covenant Classical Community won against Varsity Opponent last Tuesday with seven goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Tuesday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 7-2 margin over the Grace Christian School Kings. Carter Mingee was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Covenant Classical Community has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those two games. As for Grace Christian School, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Covenant Classical Community will face off against Peninsula Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Grace Christian School, they will challenge Williamsburg Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
