Softball Recap: Ten Straight Home Wins for Franklin County

Franklin County never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past the FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers 16-0. The Seahawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by nine runs or more this season.

Sarah Ham made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero hits allowed gave her a new career-low. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alexis Webb, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Micahlyn O'Neal also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Franklin County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .846. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
