Soccer Recap: Union County Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Union County can now relate to. They fell just short of the Callaway Cavaliers by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Union County have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Union County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for Callaway, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Union County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Callaway, they will take on Columbus at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Columbus will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Callaway surely won't give up without a fight.
