Basketball Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Luling's Winning Streak

After a string of four wins, Luling's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. The match between them and the Stockdale Brahmas didn't end well, with the Luling Eagles falling 54-39. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 69-57 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Luling lost, don't look at Jaime Gomez. Despite the final result, he posted 19 points. Gomez's evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Braecyn Spencer, who earned nine points.
