Basketball Recap: Grandfield Takes a Loss

Grandfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 51-42 to the Carnegie Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bearcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-42 last Saturday.

Grandfield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Carnegie, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.

Grandfield has already played their next matchup, a 48-30 win against Big Pasture on the 14th. As for Carnegie, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-37 loss against Cordell on the 14th.
