Soccer Recap: Sherando Takes a Loss

If Sherando was feeling good fresh off their 12-0 takedown of Manassas Park last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell just short of the Brentsville District Tigers by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Sherando haven't had much luck with Brentsville District recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Sherando's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Brentsville District, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-1-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Sherando will take on rival Millbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Brentsville District is set to face off against their familiar foe Fauquier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
