Volleyball Recap: Chavez Comes Up Short

Chavez extended their losing streak to four on Wednesday, dropping them down to 3-23. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Stagg Delta Kings. The Titans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Delta Kings earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

As for Stagg, their win ended a seven-match drought at home and bumped them up to 2-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since September 12, 2024.

Stagg's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Daniela Vargas, who had five digs, three aces, and two blocks. Those five digs gave Vargas a new career-high. Kalissa Pearce was another key player, getting six digs and three aces.

As of now, neither Chavez nor Stagg have any future games scheduled.
