West Broward found a leader in Cheyanne Chaffin as the team took down Cooper City on Monday. Chaffin struck out 13 batters over six innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. The effort marked the most strikeouts she has had since back in March.

Chaffin and West Broward will be playing in front of their home fans against Western at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats will enter the matchup having just beaten Pembroke Pines Charter, so the Bobcats will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
