Sunnyside waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Marana Tigers onto the board and left with a 9-0 win. It was an even better day for Pedro Vega as he scored five goals for his team.

Sunnyside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 59 goals over those 11 games. As for Marana, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Sunnyside will host Nogales at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Sunnyside knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Nogales likes a good challenge. As for Marana, they are taking a road trip to challenge Tucson High Magnet School at 6:00 p.m. on January 22nd. Marana is facing Tucson High Magnet School at the right time seeing as Tucson High Magnet School is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
