Soccer Recap: Seminole Ridge Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Seminole Ridge couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Cooper City Cowboys by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Hawks couldn't quite close it out.

They hit Cooper City with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Roxy Brewer, Lola Agosto, and Einav Suarez.

Seminole Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 15-5-2. As for Cooper City, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3-1.

Seminole Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cooper City, they will venture away from home to face off against St. Thomas Aquinas at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Thomas Aquinas knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Cooper City likes a good challenge.
