Basketball Recap: Waldport Takes a Loss

Waldport lost against East Linn Christian Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Waldport Irish took a blow against the East Linn Christian Academy Eagles, falling 56-22. The Irish just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Waldport's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for East Linn Christian Academy, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waldport will host Toledo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Waldport is facing Toledo at the right time seeing as Toledo is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. Crosshill Christian will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something East Linn Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
