Line Mountain hasn't had much luck against Camp Hill recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Line Mountain will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
Line Mountain had to skate by with only a one-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 46-point drubbing they dealt James Buchanan on Friday. The Eagles breezed past the Rockets to the tune of 54-8. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five contests by 25 points or more so far this season.

Kaiden Maurer produced another solid performance throwing for 162 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 83 yards and one TD on only 11 carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August. Line Mountain's leading receiver Bryce Smeltz was Maurer's top target yet again, picking up 125 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Line Mountain proved: they limited James Buchanan to a paltry 3.3 yards per carry. The team can thank Kaden Dunkelberger for the heroic effort on defense: he. Line Mountain didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.7.
Line Mountain didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dunkelberger and Preston Derk. Dunkelberger got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Camp Hill scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a blow against Steelton-Highspire, falling 48-20. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Steamrollers: they've now lost nine in a row.
Line Mountain will need to focus on slowing down Colby Luther, one of several Camp Hill players who made an impact when they last played. He threw for 239 yards and three touchdowns.
Line Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Camp Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
Friday's matchup might be decided in the trenches. Line Mountain has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 209.5 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Camp Hill, though, as they've been averaging only 40.2 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
Line Mountain couldn't quite finish off Camp Hill when the teams last played back in October of 2024 and fell 21-19. Thankfully for the Eagles, Drew Branstetter (who threw for 190 yards and a pair of TDs on only 18 passes) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
