Warren Township is 8-2 against Niles North since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Blue Devils will look to defend their home court against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m.

Warren Township is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Mundelein just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Niles North played in-conference for the first time on Monday and got just the result they were looking for. They came out on top against Maine West by a score of 2-0. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.

Niles North easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 8-11. As for Warren Township, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.

Warren Township skirted past Niles North 2-1 when the teams last played back in August. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
