Basketball Recap: Ridge View Gets the Win

On Thursday Ridge View's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 72-71 W against the C.A. Johnson Hornets. Given the Blazers' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while the Hornets are ranked 40th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ridge View's record now sits at 6-0. As for C.A. Johnson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Coming up, Ridge View won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Dynamic Prep at 9:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blazers will need to watch out since the - have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for C.A. Johnson, they will challenge Cross Creek at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
