After losing to Harrison the last time they met, Kennedy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Commanders skirted past the Panthers 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Commanders.
Kennedy wouldn't go down easily and took Harrison into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-19, 15-25, 19-25, 15-9.
Liana Casias paced Kennedy's offense, picking up seven kills. Casias got some help from Aspen MacDonnell and her seven assists. Sheryl Goc controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Kennedy's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Harrison, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.
Kennedy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Littleton on the 25th. As for Harrison, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Atlas Preparatory School on the 26th.
