Kennedy lost to Harrison back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Commanders won by a set and slipped past the Panthers 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Commanders.

Kennedy took Harrison into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 15-25, 19-25, 15-9.

Liana Casias paced Kennedy's offense, picking up seven kills. Casias got some help from Aspen MacDonnell and her seven assists. Sheryl Goc controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Kennedy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Harrison, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Kennedy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Littleton on the 25th. As for Harrison, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Atlas Preparatory School on the 26th.
