West Yosemite recap November 19, 2013

Hanford fell to Madera 73-35 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jake Young threw for 310 yards and 2 touchdowns in the loss.

Hanford led West Yosemite in scoring this week after putting up 35 points on Hanford.

6-foot-1 quarterback Young of Josh Young's team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,643. He has also thrown 17 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Jordan Arnold. The Redwood star has 47 catches for 860 yards.

Going into this week's contest against Sanger, Redwood's Adam Vance needs 84 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season. Accruing a total of 23 touchdowns this year, Vance has thrown for 1,916 yards with 3 interceptions.

Joseph McDaniel broke off the longest rushing play in the league this week with a 52-yard run against the Coyotes. McDaniel finished the game with 90 yards on the ground as the Bullpups lost to Madera.
