Basketball Game Preview: Coweta Tigers vs. Edison Eagles

The Coweta Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Edison Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coweta will be strutting in after a win while Edison will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Coweta turned things around against Pryor two weeks ago. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 39-29.

Meanwhile, Edison played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 65-37 loss at the hands of Memorial. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Coweta, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-6.

Coweta came up short against Edison when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 50-41. Can Coweta avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
