After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thomas MacLaren School, Golden View Classical Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 52-15 victory over the Ascent Classical Academy Guardians. The Sentinels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Golden View Classical Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gianna Acocella, who posted 11 points in addition to seven assists and five boards. Another player making a difference was Audrey Clark, who put up four points along with ten rebounds and seven steals.

Golden View Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Ascent Classical Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Coming up, Golden View Classical Academy and Denver Jewish Day will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Golden View Classical Academy's defense has only allowed 28.9 points per game this season, so Denver Jewish Day's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Ascent Classical Academy, they will be playing at home against Addenbrooke Classical Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Addenbrooke Classical Academy will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Ascent Classical Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
