Baseball Game Preview: Atmore Christian Rams vs. Lighthouse Private Christian Academy Stingrays

The Atmore Christian Rams will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Lighthouse Private Christian Academy Stingrays at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Atmore Christian is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 14th straight game dating back to last season on Saturday. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-5 heartbreaker at the hands of Sparta Academy.

Meanwhile, Lighthouse Private Christian Academy beat Milton 8-5 on Monday.

David Chapellin was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that he's launched this season. Adrian Freitez was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Atmore Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lighthouse Private Christian Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.
