Football Game Preview: Jericho Jayhawks vs. Kennedy Cougars

Jericho is 0-5 against Kennedy since September of 2015 but things could change on Saturday. The Jayhawks will head out to challenge the Cougars. Neither Jericho nor Kennedy posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Jericho came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by MacArthur and fell 42-13. The Jayhawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

Meanwhile, Kennedy lost to Calhoun on the road by a 21-7 margin on Saturday. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Colts recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Kennedy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Jericho, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.

Jericho was taken down by Kennedy 35-6 when the teams last played back in October of 2017. Can the Jayhawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
