Baseball Recap: Cimarron Comes Up Short

Cimarron was the 16-11 winner over Liberal when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Bluejays fell just short of the Redskins by a score of 5-3 on Friday.

Cimarron saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Heddlesten, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Cimarron's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Liberal, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7.

While Cimarron had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
