The Honeoye Falls-Lima Cougars and the Greece Olympia Spartans will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Honeoye Falls-Lima is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51 points per game this season.

Honeoye Falls-Lima will bounce into Wednesday's contest after beating Batavia, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Cougars walked away with a 60-53 win over the Blue Devils on Friday. The Cougars' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

It was another big night for Shane Samson, who posted 20 points. Jacob Weber was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Meanwhile, Greece Olympia had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 52-46 to Midlakes last Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

The victory got Honeoye Falls-Lima back to even at 2-2. As for Greece Olympia, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Honeoye Falls-Lima came up short against Greece Olympia when the teams last played back in February, falling 66-59. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
