Baseball Recap: Great Mills Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Great Mills's offense. They came up short against the Northern Patriots on Friday, falling 12-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Hornets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Great Mills has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14-1 record this season. As for Northern, they pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.

Coming up, Great Mills will take on Lackey on Monday. As for Northern, they will host Crofton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
