Soccer Recap: Scott Comes Up Short

Scott fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Union County on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 1-0. Scott were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Union County apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Scott now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Union County, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scott will take on Oneida at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union County, they will face off against Berean Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Union County will be up against Berean Christian's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.5 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
