Volleyball Recap: Elgin Takes a Loss

Elgin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Conant Cougars. If the Maroons were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Cougars when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Elgin's record is now 0-6. As for Conant, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Elgin will host Proviso West at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Conant, they will welcome Harlem at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
