Basketball Recap: Emery Comes Up Short

Emery lost to De Anza back in December of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Spartans had to suffer through a 70-43 loss at the hands of the Dons. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Emery's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for De Anza, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Emery will head out to take on Summit Tamalpais at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Timberwolves have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for De Anza, they are taking a road trip to challenge El Cerrito at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
