Troy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Valley Falls, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Troy was the clear victor by a 21-15 margin over Valley Falls on Monday. Considering the Trojans have won four contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Troy pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.8 runs over those games. As for Valley Falls, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Troy will host Doniphan West at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valley Falls, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jefferson County North at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
