Softball Recap: Arkadelphia Comes Up Short

After flying high against Prescott last Monday, Arkadelphia came back down to earth. The Arkadelphia Badgers fell 12-7 to the Harmony Grove Cardinals on Thursday. The Badgers haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Annabelle Davis was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Aultman, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

Arkadelphia's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Harmony Grove, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arkadelphia will host Prescott at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Arkadelphia is facing Prescott at the right time seeing as Prescott is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Harmony Grove, they will challenge Poyen at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
