Basketball Recap: KIPP Denver Collegiate Takes a Loss

KIPP Denver Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the DSST: Green Valley Ranch Raptors 53-18. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.

DSST: Green Valley Ranch's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Milad Fatah, who posted nine points in addition to five assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Skyyaire Russell, who had eight points.

KIPP Denver Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for DSST: Green Valley Ranch, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

KIPP Denver Collegiate will head out to challenge Bruce Randolph at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for DSST: Green Valley Ranch, they will host DMLK at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
