The Christian Brothers Falcons had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 56-45 win over Del Campo. Given Christian Brothers' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 209th, while Del Campo is ranked 696th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kamari Simpson had a dynamite game for Christian Brothers, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Simpson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Exander Irving-Romero, who scored 13 points along with two steals.

Christian Brothers has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season. As for Del Campo, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 16 of their last 19 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record this season.

Christian Brothers will challenge El Camino at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Christian Brothers has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 249 points over their last four contests. As for Del Campo, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Capital Christian at 7:30 p.m. The timing isn't great for Del Campo: they have been struggling with six straight losses at home, while Capital Christian has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
