Halifax Academy waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Ridgecroft Rams with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Halifax Academy was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11, 25-13.

Halifax Academy was led to victory by Lex Roundtree and Jessa Pope. Roundtree had eight kills, six digs, and two aces, while Pope had three aces. Roundtree is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in each of the last six games she's played.

They weren't the only good server: Halifax Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 13 aces in six consecutive games.

Halifax Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Ridgecroft, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-3 record.

Halifax Academy has already played their next matchup (against Pungo Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ridgecroft also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech.
