Volleyball Recap: Gray Stone Day Starts Season with Victory Against Triad Math and Science Academy

Gray Stone Day took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-20.

Triad Math and Science Academy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Gray Stone Day will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Central Davidson at 5:00 p.m. on March 31st. As for Triad Math and Science Academy, they will head out on the road to take on John Yowell Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
