Football Game Preview: Keansburg Titans vs. Middlesex Bluejays

The Keansburg Titans will venture away from home to square off against the Middlesex Bluejays at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither Keansburg nor Middlesex posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Keansburg came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 43-7 loss at the hands of Point Pleasant Beach. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Middlesex was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by Belvidere and fell 42-6.

Keansburg's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Middlesex, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Keansburg might still be hurting after the 40-20 loss they got from Middlesex when the teams last played back in October of 2015.
