            Volleyball Recap: Lyman Greyhounds vs. Lake Mary Rams        
        
		
        
        
            Lyman was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They lost  3-0 to the Lake Mary Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Greyhounds of the  3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2024.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13,  25-17.
 Kamila Trinidad paced Lyman's offense, picking up four kills. Trinidad got some help from  Heidi Thornhill and her six assists. Finally,  Ashyla Badwin and  Asianna Atkins kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked four attacks.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lake Mary to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Ema Learned, who  had six  aces and three  digs. Those  six  aces gave  Learned a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ashleigh Chattaway, who  had four  digs and three  aces.
Lyman's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Lake Mary, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record  this season.
 Lyman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  defeat against Lake Howell on the 30th. As for Lake Mary, they have also already played their next contest,  a  3-0  loss against Hagerty on the 25th.
