Sun Valley was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in 3A Conference 8. The Spartans beat East Bladen 37-14 earlier in the week.

Albert Funderburk was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 220 yards on 23 carries as Sun Valley beat the Eagles. Drew Swoope also contributed to the rushing game with 38 yards on the ground.
