Hobbs got themselves on the board against Clovis on Tuesday, but Clovis never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 12-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won nine in a row.

The team relied heavily on Sol Rangel, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and one double. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Allison Garcia, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.

Hobbs was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .440. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clovis only posted a batting average of .062.

Hobbs' record is now 16-7. As for Clovis, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hobbs beat the Wildcats by a score of 13-2 later that day.
