Softball Game Preview: Hana Dragons vs. Lanai Pine Lads

Hana hasn't had much luck against Lanai recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Hana Dragons will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Lanai Pine Lads at 10:00 a.m.

Hana is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They came up short against Lanai on Friday, falling 25-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

For Lanai's part, Myah Doolin made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Doolin was even better at the plate, scoring four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Leihiwa Siliga was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Mahealani Esteban, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.
