Volleyball Recap: Lancaster Comes Up Short

Lancaster lost against Platteville on September 11th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Flying Arrows came up short against the Hillmen, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Flying Arrows have suffered since September 16th.

Lancaster was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Platteville work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 26-24, 25-16.

Lancaster has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Platteville, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-8.

Lancaster didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against River Valley on the 7th. As for Platteville, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Cuba City on the 6th.
