Baseball Game Preview: Corvian Community Cardinals vs. Bradford Prep Bears

For the second straight game, Corvian Community will face off against Bradford Prep. Corvian Community will venture away from home to square off against Bradford Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Corvian Community took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over Bradford Prep. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Holden Parks spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Gavin McElhinny, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, two triples, and three runs. He has become a key player for Corvian Community: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Brennan Frey, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
